I'm pretty sure the guy I talked to was going to be home daily but don't take my word on it. I know they're doing a lot of freight in that area and are looking for Chicago drivers that know the area. You could always give them a call. I think they were starting a guy out with not much experience at 15-17 an hour and anything over 45+ was over time. You'll have to check in with them and give them a call on the fine specifics.

Thanks for the info, should I just give the main recruiting number a call, or do you have a more specific number to call?

No no all I have is my dispatchers main line and cell phone. Your best bet is to call a recruiter see what they say. Let me know what the have and tell you.

My longest day at Roehl was 678 miles in a 63mph truck with an electronic log. I made it to Land o' Lakes in Burlington, Nj with *3* driving minutes to spare! The only reason I even attempted this is: after delivering there a few dozen times for Marten, I knew I could park there overnight and regardless of when the load is actually due, if you're there at some point in the night, they'll unload you in the morning.

Well I'm at the terminal guess the mechanics are full of PM's so they can't get me in. Talked to my dispatcher 4 hours I'll have a reset and get my drive time back. He's going to get me a load and the PM will have to wait another day it's only been 6,000 miles from my last one so that's not bad. Anyways I'll post later the trip miles. Stay Safe

550 miles. After this load was pre-assigned a load to Detroit. Really got me thinking I've heard of story's about Detroit being very bad. The kicker, delivers at midnight! Not looking forward to that.

I got there early and my next pick up in just got was 93 miles away. Picked that up at cambells soup now heading to wisconsin. 589 miles. Picked that up got a nice chunk done about 279 miles left. Not delivering until 5 is the deadline I plan to be there by 2-3 and see what happens from there. Hopefully a nice 8-1k load to end the week and into the weekend.

must have been Campbell's in napoleon? I think that's about 93 from Detroit. Used to pick up there all the time. Always my load out of home time because I used to live about an hour south of there. Easy in and out pickup atleast.
