J-Scales becoming CAT scales

A cat scale is just a certification standard.

 

With a regular, on time, qualified update on accuracy and certification. The truck stop only leases the CAT scale, doesn't own it!

 

Other scales are not updated and certified regularly ??

 

Not like CAT scales!

CAT scale is a brand, just like Ford or Chevy. The CAT company does have their own standards, as do most states for scales, and even some counties.

 

Cat scale has purchased J-scale. I saw this when I went in a flying J the other day. This is probably because Pilote have bought all the flying j truck stops..

 

Really...you think so? Well not all...Love's got in on some of the J's!

 

Ok. I thought the Cat Scales were own by the same people who own Iowa 80. I do know the original owner of Iowa 80 started Cat Scales,but don't know if he or his family sold it to anyone.
