Jake Brake Trouble

    Ok, sitting on the lot, waiting for Shop to get off the phone, so I can call in with my problem. I was wondering if anyone has any advise in the mean time. Just loaded, truck was running fine when I shut the engine off. Started up now and the engine sounds like the Jake is on. Any ideas?

    is it like a popping sound or what is it? broke a rocker arm once and was similar to that noise wise. could be a solenoid that stuck on but doubtful.

    Thanks. Kalh7. I was looking for anything and any idea to get us back on the road again. Thought we had seen it all.... 'Never had this problem before. It was a bad switch, changed it out and we are on the road again...
