I HAVE TO SAY JB HUNT TRANSPORTATION IS BY FAR ONE OF THE WORST TRUCKING COMPANIES YOU CAN WORK FOR. I JUST QUIT JB HUNT AFTER 7 MONTS OF RUNNING THERE DEDICATED ACCOUNT OUT OF NORTHEAST MARYLAND. THIS COMPANY SHOULD BE BOYCOTTED FROM THE WAY THEY TREAT THERE EMPLOYESS TO THE RULES THEY MAKE UP AND ENFORCE ON A DAILY BASIS THIS PLACE IS TERRIBLE. I HAVE SEEN THEM FIRE 2 VERY GOOD DRIVERS FOR INCIDENTS THAT THEY COULD NOT PREVENT. THIS COMPANY WILL LEAVE YOU OUT TO DRY IF SOMETHING HAPPENS TO YOU BELIEVE ME, THEY DONT CARE IF YOUR BROKE OR STARVING AS LONG AS THOSE DISPATCHERS COVER THEM LOADS U DONT MATTER. THEY TAKE SAFETY VERY SERIOUSLY WHICH IS NOT A BAD THING BUT SOME OF THE POLICIES JUST DONT MAKE SENSE YOU ARE SET UP FOR FAILURE HERE. AS FAR AS PAY I HAVE TO ADMIT IT WAS NOT THE WORSE PAY I HAVE EVER SEEN IT ACTUALLY WASNOT HAVE BAD BUT YOU'LL HAVE TO WORK 6 DAYS A WEEK 11 HOURS A DAY TO TAKE HOME AROUND 925.00 WEEK AFTER TAXES DEPENDING ON HOW UR DISPATCHER GETS ALONG WITH YOU. ITS ASHAME THE EQUIPMENT ISNT HAVE BAD AND THE WORK THEY GET IS REALLY GOOD BUT JB HUNT JUST RUINS EVERYTHING. THE DISPATCHERS HAVE NO MANNERS OR CLUE WHAT IS GOING ON EVER AND THEY NIT PICK YOU TO DEATH OVER THE SMALLEST CRAP. AND THEY ARE QUICK TO SCREW UP YOUR DAC REPORT AND MVR WITH THE QUICKNESS. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE OR YOU WILL BE SORRY 6 MONTS FROM NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:biggrin_25510:

I've found since I've been a member here that JB Hunt as to be the worst, ranking below even Swift and Werner.

We have a terminal manager with Swift here as a member. So far he has behaved and acted with far more sense and decorum than any of the JB Hunt stooges to show up here, who have done little more than make threats and insult us.

Yeah, we all know that JB is bad news. They have always needed drivers, and they always will need drivers. Lots of folks at companies such as JB benefit from their ill-treatment of drivers, so it's no surprise you got exactly that from those guys.

I have worked for JB Hunt for 3 month, and I have to say that what they told me I would average per mile was completely off. They keep sending me emails that they need power only. I guess they should honor what they quote.

Jb hunt is anti-driver people! If they could have it their way, they would have robot trucks to run their loads. Already downsizing entire fleet. Like someone on here said, as long as the loads are covered. They could care less about driver retention. Well see what kind of operation they run with trains and NO DRIVERS.

Jb is not downsizing their fleet they expanded the size of it specifically dcs they have been shrinking the otr fleet because there is not as much money to be made and otr is not very driver friendly if you have a family jb will fire for hitting things they do look at accidents based on accounts and how bad the areas you run are if your running into small stores and have an accident backing in a tight space you may have to go out with the trainer the next day but if you keep hitting polls and dumpsters and what not you will probably be looking for a new job also running dedicated there is a premium placed on being on time so you must communicate with your dispatcher about all the problems you run into so that you can be dispatched to stay on time a lot of drivers don't bother to do this I do and I have yet to have any problems with dispatch that could not be resolved .

Probably the same kind of operation they have been running for years. Not sure where you are getting all of your info..............downsizing entire fleet, wanting out of the industry altogether, etc
