JB Hunt Transport Year End Summary for 2021

    I know JB Hunt will not send out 1099 forms for 2021. Where on JBHunt 360 web site we can find that info ?

    You do not need 1099 from anybody, just file taxes for the gross income you have received in 2021

    I would like to see what they have reported to IRS. CHRW and TQL post year end reports. Looks like JBHT does not want to do it and doesn't want to send out 1099 ..

    They don’t have to send you a 1099 unless your a sole proprietor.

    Doesn't matter what business structure you're set up as, they don't have to send out 1099s. You should be doing your own books accordingly. If you want to double check their reports against your own (which is a wise decision if you have the time to do it) all you have to do is contact their Accounting Department and ask for the information.

    You sure about that? Not being a smart ### but it’s what we have to do for our brokerage. If our accountant has advised wrongly it would be good to know.

    Receiving 1099s is not a condition to filing business taxes. You don't have to attach 1099s to IRS forms anyway. It is your responsibility to accurately account for all the business income. In case you are audited, they will still go through your bank statements. Bank statements are your proof of where you got the money from, how much, and when.
