hey all o/
talked to fleet manager today. will be out with a trainer for about a week to learn peoplenet and intermodal stuff and visit HQ and meet everyone and be shown all the railyards and such.
Most of the running will be between Green Bay and Milwaukee plus Chicago of course, some freight going up I43, some up 41, and some more up and down 39 and to twin cities.
theres the option to get more miles and also the possibility of getting home every night if youre not too concerned about miles, at least i myself have that option due to where i live, very close to Milwaukee, very good since my fiance cant work and has alot of medical problems. and i can indeed choose which 2 days to have off.
more to come!scottlav46 Thanks this. -

thank you Jrdude.
first day went well, seems like this is gonna be a good account. trainers good, nice, fed me pizza and loaned me 20$ since im totally broke. getting 50$ cash advance tomorrow. back in chicago at the carlton inn for the night, start again at 630. went from pickup point up 45/41 to appleton, dropped trailer, picked up empty, i drove from appleton to green bay, where we switched again, and then down to chicago on 43, got into the railyard a little bit ago, dropped that trailer, registered license and fingerprints, then caught the shuttle to the hotel.
uneventful day, lots to learn, he says dont worry sometimes he gets it wrong.
more to come -
Sounds like a good gig and having a good trainer is usually the key I think you will be good there.
