That's interesting because we have someone in orientation who has been out of a truck for some time but has several years driving experience and they told him he wouldn't be out with a trainer for 8 weeks but would be a week or two.

    DocRox Thanks this.

    Day 3 Orientation

Day 3 orientation has come and gone and we are all done. :) They got everyone processed through today and we received our cards and trucks. The three of us who need training were assigned our trainers. I spoke with my trainer this afternoon and he seems like a really nice guy. We seemed to hit it off right away and I'm feeling much more comfortable being in a truck with someone I don't know. I will be heading out on Friday and am very excited. In total 11 people started orientation and 9 of us completed it. The two that didn't were due to medical reasons. This was a small orientation class and I guess next week they have 38 people scheduled to begin their orientation. Glad I wasn't in that one! LOL

What would they consider a "refresher" and who makes the determination?? Is it just someone who's been off road for a while or something else??

If you have over 1 yr experience in the last 5..its refresher...or 6 months is the last yr..if that makes anysince......must be OTR....recruiting and safety make that determination when you apply
