Man man man..... If only I had started school in February instead of march... I would much rather have the freedom to be able to sign off in me if they felt I was ready before the end of the training period..... As opposed to the "one size fits all" program going on now..... Either way I hope this is atleast somewhat resolved before the 25th.... Just really eager to get going!

Most companies today won't pay you squat to unload anything. Would much rather pay an exhorbatant(sp) amount to lumpers to save themselves any possibility of worksman's comp claimes.

How does jbs handle fueling. Can you fuel whenever at certain places or are they one of those companies that has an assigned fuel stops along our route.

Picked up some chicken from Sumter, SC

9PM appt time, I show up at 2PM, check in and tell them to wake me up when they are ready and she says back into door 4 we will have you loaded in a bit!

After I picked my jaw up off of the floor I bumped the dock and was in and out in under 2 hrs!

Imagine that! Pilgrims loading ya way early!

Sitting here in Mt. Pleasant TX Pilgrims burning up my time. This is one big fricken chicken plant! "Supposed" to pick up a loaded trailer and head to KS. No trailer and the person who takes care of this stuff is off today. Uhhh ok. Ahhh, the wind is blowing just right to suck up the wonderful aroma of a processing plant on a 100 degree day...

My company will let us unload, but it is a set rate. We can't underbid lumper to save them some money and make us some money, just have to accept the set amount. However, they never turn down a lumper, so they can pay out the nose.
