OK I am going to try to answer a few questions,
First Relays. and Mileage Questions.
These to topics will have many variations depending on the Driver, the Fleet they are on and Where you are, etc.
I have done a whopping 3 the whole time I have been here, 2 due to drivers not managing their time correctly and putting the load in jeopardy of being late, and 1 Swap so I could get home on time.
Miles Will depend on many factors, Again How you run, who your DM is, how you handle yourself with doing your QC messages. ETC this is why I wrote a Guide for new drivers and how to be successful while at JBS.
Sometimes I wonder I have in the past post my checks on here, and some understand them, and some don't this last pay period was my WORST taking home only 1441.00 for the two week pay period and I took 2 34 hour resets at home. I had 1261.00 in COM Check advances and only 490.50 in reimbursements, So when you do the math I should have had a 2211 check in the bank but I took cash advances and this was my WORST paycheck since coming here 2211 for two weeks. SO I am going to put it this way IF you are making better than 1100 take home every week, or 2200 take home every week then you do not want to read the PDF file I have for drivers. If you are making less than that you might want to think about this. You want to make money Listen to those who are making it, if you wanna stay broke keep doing it your way.
This next two week period will more than likely be the low as I am going to be home for a scheduled time suppose to start on Friday ( I am home now go here last night) truck is in the Cummins shop, so who knows when it will be done but at worst I will make Breakdown pay for 2 days this week, and anything after the 17th will be the same, Next Friday I only expect to take home this is Actual deposit in the bank ( which my spead sheet i designed is only off .10 - .35 cents ) of only 1345.00 with 600.00 in cash advances I will not get paid back for first time ever less than a grand take home per week average. And I have no excuse But I do put the blame on a new DM, which when I brought this to the attention of my other DM he is correcting the problem as we speak, he is working a DOUBLE shift this week to ( suppose to go home on WED) so he can better train the new guy. My Hat is off to this DM as he is committed to his Drivers, and HE actually still cares unlike some. He has not lost his passion for trucking and Yes he was a driver until personal situations predicted that he come off the road.

I want to thank the few of you who have tried to make our lives a lot easier, such as explaining how things work at JBS. I have learnt a lot and have passed it all on to myhusband who is a new driver here. He is a very happy person, getting the miles so if he is happy I am happy. Thank you Doc, Foxfire and Harley Hope everyone has a safe day. And keep up the good work JBS should be honored to have you on their side.
