Tyson Driver,
Just a heads up I met a group of Drivers about 3 weeks ago in Greeley seems there is a mass exodus of Tyson Drivers coming to JBS, as a matter of fact there were 6 in that class alone. 2 of which had 20+ years at TYSON. So you won't be alone.
As for the Driver Trainer thing Foxfire will have to answer that one I am not so sure

 

Why can't you answer why you wanna leave tyson?

I have another question for anyone who would like to answer. What happens if you are caught NOT wearing your seatbelt. Just asking

 

Why would you not wear your seat belt? Just asking.

 

You get a ticket. In some states that's enough to trigger a DOT inspection, so you get CSA points too. Which means the safety department will probably want to know why you invite exposure to stupid tickets.

Why, do you want to get noticed by the law? Just askin'...

you can start training right away but I dont thank it worth the money they offer now...i'm a trainer but was grandfathered in at 5times the pay they are offering in new trainers.......yes....thats right 5 TIMES....it is only 2cpm more then a reguler driver now....if 50 or 60 dollers a week more is worth it to you call and ask for Tom Cristen and he will fill you in

 

Been driving for 6 years and I DON'T wear mine unless I'm going through a scale, drive by cops all the time never been pulled over, And if you go through new Hampshire they don't have a seat belt law.

 

There's a number of states now that that is a reason to pull you over without any other reason... just enough to initiate a DOT-shakedown of your wallet.

§ 392.16 Use of seat belts. A commercial motor vehicle which has a seat belt assembly installed at the driver's seat shall not be driven unless the driver has properly restrained himself/herself with the seat belt assembly.
