Chicago traffic is totally hosed this summer. The construction backup in the Joliet area is unbelievable... and it is a 24-hour deal. So... if you're delivering in Bollingbrook in the AM, the only way to deal with it is to be north of the traffic disaster area to start with. That means the TA in Aurora, one of the service plazas, a "secret" parking spot if you know one, or maybe parking overnight at your receivers.

we have few other good ones...LOL....when the time comes i can hook him up with one of the better ones....as for our training program here a student will not get his own truck till the trainer signs off...no questions asked....and you are right most trainers are just drivers that are trying to help and make a few extra dollers....as for me? I have been an instrutor in all of my jobs over the yrs....Military...law enforcement and the Fed. Gov....the trainers we are getting in recently im not impressed with but i dont control that area so i do what i do and help as many as i can while i can....the new trainers are paid 1/5th of what i make and i wouldnt do it for 1cent less...i do think this will change soon do to a vary long meeting with the new presedent of JBS...time will tell....

We regional boys only run 1600 to 1800 miles a week and ONLY pilgrims chicken. I can't afford to run 1000 to 1200 every week for most of the year.some of the sacred cows run more but I'm not sacred or a cow... Just sayin! I have pulled reefers for years back in the 90's,chicken out west-produce back to dallas. I know people don't eat as much chicken in fall and winter but we(jbs owns pilgrims) give away a butt load of runs to outside carriers that jbs could be hauling.I think KLLM hauls more pilgrims than we do. I have the most exsperience pullin out of natchitoches La and I see more outside trks there than us so there is no reason for JBS not to have the better runs. Harley the natchitoches plant has a weigh in an out deal but not as bad as u described! SCOOBY who did u pull for in armadilla? I worked for lone star milk out of hereford for last 2 yrs till jbs. I made 45K last year at .30cpm-i have no arse left but money was steady till "new" management thought they could make things better-NOT! I will give er a few more weeks but I said that a few weeks ago too!LOL frac sand haulin might be in tha future.

If anybody can help me. I haven't been to the yard since last yearI, and really nee d to get truck serviced. Needing to know a few things so I can set pta.

    1. Is the shop open at the new yard if so do they still not open on sunday?

    2. I think I seen on another post the wash bay is not open or if they have one so you still get trl washout b4 you get there?

    3. Is there washer dryer at new place and if so. Do they work? and or do you have to pay to use it.

    4. Who's in charge of assigning trucks shop or fleet manager, because it might be easier to give me another truck and let me roll on out. Kinda bad when it rained heck I don't know when and I still have water dripping off my cb. Truck falling apart at 160,000 is not cool.

Shop is open, no wash bay yet

There is a washer/dryer, yes you pay for it

I could be wrong but I think Darren Taylor is in charge of assigning trucks, he is the one that gave me my new KW

    hazmat777 Thanks this.
