Driver was/is fine. Broken clavicle, but if you saw the truck you wouldn't believe somone could survive that.

Is it still 3days or did they go to 2days?

If they send you guys to Indiana to get new trailers make sure you have a trailer number, and then call great dane and make sure that trailer is ready. I did both, and told them that trailer was not going to be ready, and here I sit.

Hope all works out for you. I have a pretty good load to pick up if I can get a trailer so seems like freight is picking up a little. Even though I got a message about a bunch of guys in texas sitting.

So hope to see you on the road soon if they don't try to mess you over in orientation. Good luck bud. Time to get some shut eye.

As long as I pass the ergo, I should be good to go. Email attachments show 3 day orientation.
TX is the last place to be stuck. I've never been stuck in TX trying to get a load out.

Well i have orientation on monday. I had to be one of the last few to get hired out of florida which makes me feel lucky i suppose lol. Anyways just one quick question is taking two bags to much? Im about to start packing but 7-14 days of clothes with a pillow and blanket seem like alot to fit in one bag. So just wondering if two bags will be to much when im with my trainer. Ill keep posting to let you guys know how im doing and thx for anyone has helped answer my question so far.

Hey Army Guy. There's this thing you can buy, and you put it in a plastic bag. Vacumn all the air out of it and it can make a whole lot fit in one bag. Think they may charge you for extra bag at the air port.

Wow so you guys will get out on Saturday. JBS must be pretty busy these days. I think it was 1 orientation a week when I got hired on.

Well Finally Got a trailer. 15hrs later. JBS has gotten smart. Last time I picked up here. Had to dh to Green Bay to get plates. Now I guess they send the plates here and you can get to rolling. Spent a few minutes trying to find the trailer since somebody had labeled trailer wrong but with a lil detective work found the right trailer.

Headed to Plainwell to get me a 4 stopper. You guys be good.:biggrin_25523::biggrin_25523:

Getting out of Cali sucked #####!! Traffic backups almost all the way to Nevada. Donner is a big frickin' mess. Hate to see what it is going to be like when it's starts snowing. Stayed the night in Winnamucca. Can you say that? WIN a MUCHA. Sure, sure you can. Dropped that veggie load at Associated just outside of Ogden. That was slick. Show up 12 hours early, back it into a door, pick up an empty and outta there. Not even a guard check going out at the gate! 1/2 hour tops there and I was on to Hyrum. Load ready, out in 1/2 hour and down to the J just south of the scales on I-15 for a 10. Like the view at this one. Some days are better than others.
