I have been camping out in BFE with no phone signal much less internet.
And For the Dallas Pilgrims Plant as of OCT 1 The Ferris Road plant will be closed permanent there was a huge write up in the Dallas Morning News. The Employee's are being moved compliments of Pilgrims to Mt Pleasant, and other places if they choose to go, that was in the paper interview with the "head" of Pilgrims I am guessing Don Jackson.Scooby379 Thanks this. -
OH How I hate California oh this place sucks a GREAT big honking ballbark weiner.
Was supposed to deliver in Sacramento tomorrow, Pull into Barstow DM calls me as I am sitting down to drop off a new DM. And Knowing HOW I hate CALI much less LA, ask me "Mark I need a huge Favor" Figure I am on the crapper so I am fixing to get screwed royally. Turns out some moron driver who's load was ready on THURSDAY in Hyrum did not have the hours to deliver in LA, on MONDAY go figure why in the hell is he in BARSTOW whatever right, So we end up doing a 3 way swap because he can not make it to SACRAMENTO on time either, BLOWS me away he could have pulled a 34 and still made LA on time, SO I get the load Literally Haul butt ( considering CALI is 55) to LA in 1.5 hours to get my arse ripped when I show up at this Hot Dog Manufacturer in DOWNTOWN LA. Saying Dispatch told them I was rolling at 0600 Hell I did not get to Barstow until 0830 I left at 0900 and showed up there at 10:30 WTF right.
I am almost out of hours any way since I left Flagstaff this morning, then I get the phone call, Head to Sacramento load tomorrow at noon to be in SLC at 1300 the next day no problem, but I have to take a 10 in Barstow and they will not load me early and I can not show up until NOON. ONE Word for the load planner, #######. THe truck only goes 65 and uhh there are some hills between Sacramento and SLC, how about I need to EAT or Squirt the dirt dim whit. (OH yeah the LD Planner reads this I know he went to Darrin about something I said and he got thrown under the bus lol ) So When you read this DIM Whit, yea you HYRUM Boy you should try driving one first before you shove something up my backside. So In the END Darrin has informed the customer in SLC that we might not make it at 1300 more like 1500 and told me not to worry about it. Beat the hell out of me to think that some pencil pusher would not pull from the 3 trucks sitting in SACRAMENTO to make this run instead of sending them to Corona then San Diego.. What are you thinking Dude I DH 390 miles to SAC and it is only 646 to SLC??? over 50% DH ?? Really

welcome back doc, could be worse you lucky you rolling in cali short on loads here there are like 3 of us emptied early this morning, an we are still here (wonder why they didnt use one of us to swap him) we are in carson or compton, i dont load till tomorrow noon

Scooby I have a Hundred Dollar Bill Says the DM who screwed up and sent him without Hours never even looked to see who was in the area, Just chance luck I pulled off at the wrong time.
You see when I started they told me they paid extra to go to NYC, I told them KEEP the money for NYC and pay me to go to Cali or better yet never send me to Shaky at all.
So when I accepted the NOR Cal load I was ok, but the whole LA nightmare that sucked. I was in Downtown LA 4 blocks from the tallest building in LA. Backing in off the street to hit some BS little dock lol, I would rather do that in Downtown Chicago or in Brooklyn I know how to stop traffic there, here in Cali I got flipped off and one schmuck drove on the sidewalk to get around my tail end. I would go postal (lol) If I had to come to LA every week. I feel I paid my dues to this state 17.5 years of it actually, Pico Rivera, Otay Mesa back to Hunts Point Produce market, Meat back out to the west.
I wish they would have found someone else to deliver it, 112 miles paid 35.00 what a crock of horse manure, after Uncle Sam got his chunk I can afford to see the Shrink but not get the meds.
