I saw a green Volvo JBS truck in Marshalltown, didn't know we had any!

 

I didn't ether....must be an old greenbay regional

 

Was getting fuel yesterday and swiped my comcard and it didn't work. Went inside and the clerk said this card is no good. Huh? Called my DM and was told that they are turning off the cards while you are on home time and they must reactivate it afterwards now. Hmmm, wonder why?
Picked up a load in the "Carthage Cave". That was pretty cool!
Got to go to Jersey now, not cool!

 

i got one for ya...dropped in Laredo TX..dead to fort worth...sit for 10..about to bump and dm cancels load....repreplans me to drop hook versacold dallas...get there and trailer is not even there yet and wont be loaded for two days..call dm replans again to guess where.....fort worth exact same load that was cancelled the day before...dead back to fort worth set all night and morning and still not loaded...i love this company!!! oh and i almost forgot i was set to be home yesterday in Ga and im still in TX...hhahahhaa!! what an adventure!!!! just gotta roll with'm guys and gals....

 

Getting unloaded at Sara Lee, sure wish I had a preplan considering the QC msg they sent about the snowstorm hitting Greeley and they are w/o power and phones now!..............................................

Sara Lee is an 8-billion dollar company traded on the NY Stock Exchange. If JBS had made a bid to buy a controlling share, the whole world would have heard about it... especially their investors.

 

They tried awhile back, the govt said no dice!

Would have been a monopoly in the meat business

 

That's also why they outsource a lot of thier loads... JBS has been treading very close to the anti-trust laws for some time now.
