Why Won't JBS Carriers buy some tires for their shops???????? I don't know what the bean counters in Greeley are up to but they will not let Green Bay buy any tires. This has been going on for a few weeks in Green Bay. There are 15-20 trailers in the yard that need tires and the word is that we are no longer on National Accounts with Bridgestone Tires. I hope that none of you JBS drivers comes to Green Bay needing drive tires or steer tires. Only 3 steer tires in inventory and 2 of them are used. Come on JBS bean counters, What's going on, Can't pay your bill to Bridgestone or what?????????? This company is so *ssbackwards sometimes, They can spend millions updating plants but can't seem to be able to afford to buy tires for their trucks and trailers, and all while entering the winter driving season. If you think this post is bs call randy at the shop in green bay and ask him about this.

Student driver headed to Greeley for Orientation. I've enjoyed skipping around in the threads related to JBS and getting a realistic view from drivers, good and bad. I'm HQ'd in Nashville, TN and I'd like to get a better idea of JBS operations in and around Tennessee. I know I'll be driving all over but I just wonder if I have any inherent advantages/ disadvantages living here. Also, do drivers load/ unload at any time or is that strictly left to lumpers ? Not a big deal either way, I like being active. Just wondering.

Not a JBS driver but, unless your on a dedicated account, hauling to the stores themselves, you will NOT normally be loading or unloading your trailer. I've helped unload a tlr once, in 3+ years now, and that was by my choice.
