Anybody have any knowledge of these new Kenworth T700? I've seen some on the highway and they sure look nice. Stevens Transport has alot on the road already and that black paint really makes for a good looking truck.. Mid March is when these trucks are supposed to start rolling in so will sure be interested to see one in person.. The interior is very spacious they say, YouTube has some videos of them on there.

Thanks for starting this new thread. Let's hope that this one will be "a little nicer". Regarding the shop in Greeley, it is actually quite good and will be getting better when they move into their new facility by the end of the month.

    Whatever happened to fallingangel ??

Did they not make it over to this thread ?

Perhaps somebody wants to send them a message, and let them know there is a new thread.

Hey Guys, Just finished training, 4 weeks and 11000k miles, from one coast to the other, from Boisie Idaho to Yuma Az. Had a great trainer. Start my first load on Tues morning. For anyone who in thinking about JBS Carriers. ask your questions. I have found that the drivers who think the company reads minds have the attitudes, the drivers who ask and plan keep rollin. The trainers are getting new KW T700 Suites. They are a bit larger. really need the room for 2 people. They are to be black.

Good deal Ricky! Let us know what kind of truck you get? Condition - mileage- all the good stuff you know. Hope you do well there and please do keep us all up to date on your adventures with JBS What's your pay rate if you don't mind telling us? And did you make it to many of the plants? Ie. Tolleson Cactus, Tx Ect. Was hoping this thread would draw a little more interest but maybe it will pick up with more updates from drivers like you... Was Ken your trainer? At any rate good luck and keep the information coming. Take care

Am not a JBS drvr but have been to several of there plants driving reefers. Cactus is in the middle of nowhere but they are expanding it and do have a fairly nice parking spot to wait if needed. No nearby trk stops tho for showers that you can get on your various cards.
Worthington, MN. What a strange way to operate. You will never even see a JBS employee there. They contract with someone else to do there work as far as getting tlrs and washouts , etc.
Grand Island, best advice for there is to have some waders with you if its raining. Get out and see just how DEEP that hole is before you drive in it!!!!
JBS is no better or worse than any other meat plant out there. Some times there will be good and other times just suck!!!!

The T700's are very spacious!!! Person in top bunk can actually sit up in it. Plenty of space to get between the seats, unlike the T660's. Lots of storage space. Wonder if they bought them with the fridges in them. If so, there drawers and just pull out. Think their engineers finally decided to look at Freighliner and Volvos and the way they were designed. Still get good fuel mileage BUT thought was actually put in for drvr comfort.

Sorry this was so long and hopefully helpful and what ya'lls looking for.

YouTube has some good videos on the new T700 and it looks like a winner. 60 cubic feet inside and 84" tall. Seeing more and more on the road all the road all the time. JBS running east hard through Nebraska today. Must have passed 15 trucks today on i80.
