This coming from somebody who is on a dedicated account and has been talking about quitting since june or july. Really dude if you pull up your big boy undies, and get off that crap account in which they have not made it any better for you guys. Why do you think its going to change. That's the price you pay to get home 1 day or on the weekend. For some of us its not worth it. For other I guess its ok. So change your situation or wipe your tears.

 

Sir when you trying to get home to Florida every 2 weeks. In which the company supposedly has stopped hiring or has limited their hiring from their. It should tell you something. Your expectations are a little too high, and most folks are probably laughing at you. So JBS must hire your own personal load planner to get you back to florida on time. Anytime you have home time set up. You are more then likely going to sit more and wait until a load becomes available. JBS has over 800 drivers trying to get loads to and fro and home. But some guys who wants to get home every other weekend so he can chill on the beach and complain about a bug being in his margarita deserves all the time of the dispatchers and load planners. Dude you are lucky you even have a job. Fleet 19 couldn't do for you. Now you complaining about fleet 20. Hmmm Maybe you need to look @ self and ask I'm I being realistic. Or AM I BUILT FOR OTR. Becky, the new DM manager was my FM, she has a common sence approach, That is if upper management doesnt try to micro manage her. great person. knows trucking. never had a problem with her for the 9 months she was my fm. GOOD FOR HER.

 

LMFAO! Aint no way I would run otr for jbs. It has been nice gettin home for every holiday since may,this is the first thanksgiving I was home since 2006. I worked evry holiday last year including Christmas. That's why I got this job-to be home but its no longer worth the effort. I will tell you what though... I will pull up my big boy undies if you will take that dam cheerleader outfit off. You have a better attitude than I, and, have accepted that any backside sex favors from your employer is "just truckin". That's cool...I can't seem to bend over, and, start fightin the second they start fumblin with my belt for those "employer just truckin treatment". People on here all just full of hate. Don't understand it myself personally. But yea when a guy doesn't have his "cheerleader" outfit on, people dump on him hard. All just because he doesn't agree with the current policies in place and tries to voice a opinion. Everyone takes a dump on that guy just for trying to better himself. Yea most of you are right. Some of us aint built for reefer otr. And its not even the fact of otr. Its the wonderful world of reefers. Hurry up and wait. I'm willing to bet that in any given month most reefer drivers probably sit for 100+ hrs a month. And all that time is unpaid. So how can anyone fault a guy to find a job. And to better himself? At the rate of 100 hrs a month * $10.00 per = $1,000 bucks a month that you all give up for free. I'm not gonna fight with anyone any more on this. Just a point that's all.
