JBS Carriers Greeley Colorado

Remember that paper you signed in orientation that said any ideas you have and present to the company becomes the property of JBSSA and all subsidiaries?I find it funny that the same 10 drivers are always the ones that are wronged.Sounds like they have a vendetta against you guys.I have talked to about 10 JBS drivers this week and out of 10 only 3 hated the company.That is a better barometer of how things really are.You can keep trashing JBS and its not going to make a #### bit of difference. You will be dead and gone and JBS will still be here.They are Brazillian owned and backed by Brazillian money. Brazil is poised to take over Great Britian as the worlds 5th largest economy in the next 5 years.So move on quit trying to fight them and better yourself if you can find a better company congrats! The sleep apnea thing is the wave of the future JBs is being proactive. Elogs are the wave of the future.I have said my piece,and I will be the first to tell you I am very happy with JBS,I have a good dispatcher,people answer the phone when I call,and I get a nice paycheck every 2 weeks.I have been in this business 18 years and have to adapt many times to many things,I am not a rookie.I have numerous awards from the ATA hanging on my wall, and I can go to work anywhere.

 

Well congrats to you and you loving jbs...Some of dont love jbs so much..me being one...i think JBS takes advantage of there drivers...as for them not changing, your absolutely right.. they will never change...and why will they not change because they got newbies coming out of school all excitied about driving a brand new shiny ### truck..who in the hell gives a rats ###....and they will never change because they have drivers that will lye down and accept there line a B/S...like giving up 4 hrs for free. and when you can collect you only get a nice whopping $10.00 per hour....so i could go on and on...but it wont make a bit of difference, so why bother...you may or may not be right on the sleep thing.. i personally think its a scam and its retarded...the docotrs told the mrb and fmcsa that sleep apnea had nothing to do with truck crashes..and the doctors said that there is too much money to be made by the people involved...as i stated in a prior post..there is NO SET WAY, to determine if a person have sleep apnea...skinny people can have it and fat people can have it...So as i asked already "IF ITS TRUELY IN THE EYES OF SAFETY, WHY ISNT EVERY SINGLE TRUCK DRIVER BEING TESTED? i will answer that for you...its all about MONEY MONEY MONEY MONEY and nothing more then that...Oh yea JBS Carriers is such a upstanding company that why i have been out of work since dec 19th with no money...and thanks to JBS i had to apply to WELFARE....SO YEA THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL THAT YOU DONT DO FOR ME AS A EMPLOYEE OF JBS CARRIERS...

 

Well I am glad you are happy where you are. i am also glad that you van get someone to pick up the phone when you call. I also got ok checks when they where right but getting anyone to pick up the phone, answer a qualcomm msg, or even return a call was like pulling teeth. I wasnt happy there as they did not communicate back with me as i was trying to communicate to them. Yes I have changed for other companies to follow there policies but working together is a two way street. When it does turn into a one way street I do move on to other companies and places like I have done. I will work with other people that i do not like to do my job it doesnt matter to me but I will not kiss ### to do my job. I hope your stay there at JBS stays as it is for you. Just dont get mad when it changes and all this stuff these drivers are saying slaps you ion the face. Good luck to you and safe travels.

By the way out of that equation thats 30% that dont like the company..

and as for the guy with the fuel mileage issue...last i knew jbs didnt own www.thetruckerreport.com

he posted many many months ago and now jbs has a fuel bonus...by the way all fuel bonuses are just a crock of @hit....just another way for corporate to screw over the drivers...but hey where gonna offer you a fuel bonus so you will feel all warm and fuzzy...ask yourself this question....WHY DOES JBS NEED TO OFFER A $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS? I can tell you, DESPERATION. out of the 10 guys you talked to 3 hated jbs, as i said that 30% thats not a good ratio...

 

Since i have been PUT OUT OF WORK on dec 19th only 1 person called...and its now Jan 9th 2012... the day i got the phone call was on dec 28th...so i will have to agree, JBS lacks in communications, and pay checks suck ### at its best week...

 

The one thing I can seem to get over thinking about this 3 out of 10 review. The last time I was at the Greeley terminal there where boxes of drivers stuff packed up to be mailed out to driver no longer working for JBS. Also to point out the drivers stuff that has been setting in the driver lounge for about a month now that did have his/her cb, gps and other stuff setting there that no longer is other then the food that was in the same box. So out of the 3 of 10 driver how long did they work there? have they been stab in the back yet? What about those drivers with there stuff setting in the driver lounge that is coming up missing? How do you think they feel? As far as that letter or memo that is sign about what ever you think of becomes the companies idea I for one dont remember and do know that I wouldnt sign that to begin with.

Well thecleaninglady, would you prefer all of us to sit around the campfire and sing Kumbaya? and all sit here and tell lies and let everyone know that jbs is the best trucking company out there?
so many issues in greeley...i think no one in greeley knows anything about trucking but yet they all sit there day in and day out doing nothing...but im expected to sit here and be happy...
food for thought here people, about JBS Carriers:
1)$3,000 sign on bonus = Desperation
2)fuel Bonus = a joke
3) driver pay miles and detention = a Joke
4)Communication = a Joke
5) Stating what the health benefits cost = A Joke
all in all a joke of a company that looks to be in crisis mode and showing signs of desperation on a daily basis...
you all can take it for what it is...but the truth is in the writings in here

 

tysondriver comming from tyson I can see you fitting in well at jbs talked to old timers at tyson years ago sayin it was going to crap!! also what has the ATA done any good for the truck driver ??????? wouldnt be proud of them!!!!! most of your posts were very constructive & good reading what happend ??? couldnt get me to drive for 1 of these big outfits,

 

i know ATA means American Trucking Associations

but i look at it more like the: Anti Trucking Associations
