I went to orientation there... new grad and they expected us to be professionals and masters at driving and backing, What part of new grad didn't they understand? There are better options, smaller companies, local jobs for sure, I found one in Montana... they didn't care that I was new... Take that JBS and S**** it!

you are so right that is one of the reasons my hubby left they did not care about your hometime JBS stands for just be sitting and always check your comdata because payroll doesnt know their left hand from their right. he started with another company within a week at 5 cents more per mile the longest we have sat anywhere to pick up or drop has been 2 hours usually in and out inan hour, they pay you for your time it takes for your wash outs great company JBS hires a lot of drivers every week because you get TIRED of the BS real quick so all you cheerleaders out there enjoy your sitting i guessnyou stay because you cant find anything else.

So the name JBS is the only new part. They are two old companies join together. So the new thing is something that should not be used as a excuse on why JBS is being run so shytty.

the jbs carriers is considered new because they have been around less than five years. the jbs/swift meet plants have been around since 1956. we are going threw some interoffice personnel changes at the moment and some policy changes with those personnel changes. i would call them growing pains. as a whole jbs is running pretty well now that we have straightened out some of our safety issues in the past two years.
