No Black flag No more fines please. I'll never make it to the Row. Well I'm sure his New Orleans load must of cancelled but the funny part he said he was going to be home Wednesday because the other company didn't get him home. But he spoke to soon. Now he won't be home till Friday. OOK Harley I'm done don't put me at the end of the lap.

Daniel some people like trucking stories. Sorry If I spoil them for the rest of the folks. I'll keep quiet. :) Back to my favorite thread.

So Daniel when do you deliver in CAli. Look like those may be all the miles you get for the week huh, but its ok. You were on home time. So you will catch up in your #415 Furniture Row Peterbilt.

I drop off friday morning. Starting my week on a Wednesday so I know I'll be low. Should get one more trip in before Sunday night. But that is 1239 miles loaded. They don't show empty but that's about 60 or so. Give or take from fort Collins to Denver. The PP are set up different then JBS.

But still if I run it right Ill drive less miles and get paid for the miles they post.

    Jack&Jill Logistics Thanks this.

Yeah hope you get another load but even if you don't get it done by Sunday those will be some good miles to add coming out of Cali for the next week. I'll probably have some ugly numbers next week coming out on a Friday if I don't get a pretty good load.

Hope you don't have to chain up again. That's the only place I ever had to chain up and I think it was in June.

Went past JBS terminal in Greeley today. There are a lot of trucks sitting. Front line was full and some parked back by the trailers and behind the shop. I guess a lot of drivers have their home time at the same time. please fill me in JBS people.

I have been to busy looking for another race team! we dont get gauranteed miles,it is what it is. yes i make .45cpm but when u loose 10% of miles it comes out to way less. Jbs has been constantly qcomming about idle time, fuel mileage etc etc. now we are required to do a pallet xchange. kinda hard to get 45% idle time when u only run 300 miles a day(if your lucky) amd its already hot and humid in se texas. The only wal mart we drop and hook is terrell and thats out of lufkin only, havent had that load in 6 plus weeks so i assume its still the same. There are so many things effed up here i cant even post em all! every since we took over the kllm loads its been terrible,i am working harder for less miles. we had 13 drivers quit in just over a week and 1 fired that i know of. i dont post much anymore-whats the point? I am faxing the paperwork at the place I used to work hauling milk as there pay has changed. I left there to be home on the weekends and have been for the most part, but, now jbs chicken circle jerk wants us to work 2 weeks straight or more and you have to put in for your time off 2 weeks in advance. now why the shat would i want to pul 4 trailers a day sometimes, deal with 3 pilgrim plants and 2 grocery warehouses and lumpers if i cant get home for a day off on sunday? yes jbs is doing what they need to do to move freight but most of the drivers are like me-whats the ##### point? might as well go back otr and have less stress, which is what i am doing till i can get my nascar gig or get out of trucking altogether! when i first started here ,a year ago next week, it was pretty good, there were some pain in the arses to deal with- but tolerable. jbs seems to be going broke by the way they keep harping on the fuel issues etc, if they work out for you...great, but ,for the most of us it isnt or didnt for many that have left before me. just like the indy racing (IRL) the last one out the door turn off the lights...........:biggrin_25513: oh and 1 more thing-i had a dream the other night that jack and jill racing finally won a race. yea...they black flagged the other 42 teams.:biggrin_25524:

I was speaking of the qualcom message I got the other day that asked the guys who were not on the circle Jerk already that if we would sign up. We would get 2200 miles guaranteed. But if we ran more we would get those also, and we didn't have to live in Texas either.

Every company is about saving money. So Yes We don't have money to burn. So as the qual com said if you are not in your truck turn it off. Believe me I've worked for companies who were serious about idle time and would fire you for idling. I can't believe out of all the drivers we have only 25 of us made the fuel bonus.

It has been pretty nice around the country and really no reason to have such a high idle time. The idle time should be rising pretty soon because we are in the heart of summer. My truck get's 7.2 mpg without me doing anything special. Now if I hit mountains and I have a heavy load it might drop down to 6.75. These trucks are pretty aerodynamic so. As a company with 800 trucks getting 6mpg or less you are making the Arabs rich. 6.75 is not bad to ask, and You will know how desperate they get when they turn trucks down to 61 or 62.

I'm sure you would do better JBS otr and getting home every 2 weeks then you would on the circle jerk. I would test that out b4 you jump to another company if the other companies you are looking at can't get you home every week. Hope you find a gig soon bro.

There are always lots of trucks there. We could all speculate, but if you want to know the facts. Just call the company. Obviously you have never passed by a large carriers yard b4 on the weekend or on most days. Always a gazillion trucks. Friday's we have all the orientation folks getting out and maybe some of them won't get load till sat, sun, or monday. All guesses on my part.
