The only problem I see with this thread is HCTOWING is always stirring the pot. If everyone would just ignore what HCTOWING says then the thread will be just fine. We do not need all the negative posting about how JBS is all gloom and doom that belongs on a separate thread. Just my 2 cents worth.

I have been cleared to go to orientation may 2nd. I will be on a reginal run in MT Pleasant Tx.Harleymanjax how detailed is the test for pickin up 90lbs?,I forget the test name..how many truck washes a month?... Can stickers be put on side window of truck like an 18 nascar sticker?... JBS said I would be gettin a new T700 to go down to Tx but didn't say I would be keeping it. I am supposed to be home every weekend we will see, if not, I'll give a try for 90 days anyway then make a decision.my B.S. Tolerance is gettin reeeaaaalll low but will at least go in with a positive attitude ,but, like a red nose pit bull hog dog that attitude could change quickly!! LoL

The Ergo test was really easy, don't sweat over it!

One wash a month on the road, but a few of the terminals have washes at them so you can wash your truck anytime you are there.

No stickers or any other mods to your truck are allowed.

I didn't think it would take long before a hater came by with an attitude.

Actually im with a regional company now.. we run between Denver, Chicago and Dallas mostly with some occasional longer runs... although I long to go back to 48 state, but I get thru home regularly at this company.

But, how does not running coast to coast constitute flawed math? With coast to coast and 1000+ runs that should be cake and the math should work even better than my regional running. Lemme see your typical week. I never said I hit that many miles at THIS company... I said ive done it once or twice. Reread my post.

I was at a 48 state and canada company before my current for 2 years, so i'm pretty sure I know the "real world" of trucking as you call it (which.. what does that actually mean oh great one?)... I have a strong work ethic and prefer to move rather than sit. Less time complaining and more time moving is how I get the miles I do.

My dock time is the 15 minutes i'm required to log as a pre/post trip at each end. Your only required to log the pre/post trip and not the entire time your in the dock since technically your not responsible for the load at that time. And, if your dropping/hooking... even better. Doesn't everyone log that way? I just know how to read and interpret law is all and use it to my advantage. If that's not what your doing your wasting your time.

I said i'm a techie.. not that thats what I did before this career move. My former career has no play in this thread anyways.. I left by choice, and i'll leave it at that.

If you have any other gripes with me or want to debate my math then lets take it to private messages so yet another thread isn't shut down.

Sorry, guys. We try to give members who are rough around the edges every chance to prove that they have something of value to contribute to the community. It appears we gave that member more chances than he deserved.
