Hey guys, So i was thinking of going with JBS for a regional dedicated position that has me home 2 days a week (weekends i think) in where i live, I live in the southeast of michigan and i checked out that it is $1200 a week guarenteed. Im a new driver so i wanted to see what you guys think? is that a good company to start out in and make good money? thanks

I call livestock trailers that but Back to the op its it's always nice having a guarantee pay just gotta find out how you are qualified to get it ( like being available 7 days a week or something like that). Othere then that I don't know much about that company.
Will you be driving a reefer or livestock trailer -
ok thanks, the website says 5 days of work will be $1200 and an extra $240 for the 6th and 7th day worked. and for reefer or livestock im not sure yet i think its reefer to be honest, but i gotta check and call them. im not sure if i can do livestock lol, can't even kill an insect in my own home.Coffey Thanks this.

Doesn't sound to bad but you might have problems if you pick up at slaughterhouses if you got a weak stomach I want to my first one the other day and they was throwing dead pig on the side of the building

lol you probably felt like you were in a horror movie. yeah,it seems like its a good job( pay wise). i just gotta ask them more questions to make sure. plus if im driving livestock and somehow the back gate unlocks, i then gotta go around chasing all cows back into the trailer lolCoffey Thanks this.
