I wish I'd have read this before I opened my Dr. Pepper, LoL~!'sploosh' sound, goes here! BTW, I wish you well, O/P. I've encountered some JBS drivers on the reefer side through my years, no complaints whatsoever. Professional, in my recollection.
~@88 Alpha Yessir, we have had our shenanigans to say the least.. 'Boxes (or the lack of)' .. 'Right Turns' (Thanks, @Thull << still love ya, bro) and my now defunct G, B, and O/T thread..... I still try to be a productive member of this society, y'all~!
I try to be a go'to guy, O/P. China 'really' has it when it comes to companies, and who work(ed/s) where, and all that jazz, and I have no clue; I'm not a walking rolodex, haha!
I've NEVER hauled livestock, either processed or non. Probably the ONLY thing i've not endeavoured in, tbh... The options are probably here, in Ohio, but I'm comfy with the skin I'm in. Took me MANY years to get this 'local/regional' intrastate gig, that pays rather well, with the notches in my belt.
ps: @88 Alpha , you rock, sir~!

thanks guys for helping out,
Jbs Carrier wants me to go through a refresher course
they said
which im debating if i even want to do that.
Does anyone know any regional jobs, terminals around detroit MI, automatic trucks and that pays good? i want to make $900 a week and up, take home pay. thanksG13Tomcat Thanks this. -
I'd do the 'refresher' tbh... how much experience do you have, overall? Bullhauling is a line of work of it's own. Kinda like pulling tanks; a sort of a 'surge.'
Heck, what's one week 'paid' to run with somebody showing you the ropes? (No pun intended, LoL..) -
I'd go with JBS Carriers to get a few months experience; then shop around. You're wasting valuable time being a pessimist.
G13Tomcat, 88 Alpha and austinmike Thank this. -
ok i think your right i should just do it, i have 0 experience and they want me to do a course at the school i got my cdl. (just was annoyed cause i want to start the job asap)
lol at your last sentence.G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
thanks China, I just have to do it.

Schneider offers refresher training if you’re interested in dry van. But if it were me I’d much prefer to be driving a JBS truck.
G13Tomcat Thanks this. -
thanks, yea i want to go with jbs, but they want me to do a refresher course in my own hometime school. which will probably be $1200 to $2000, i dont have the money and i'm unemployed atm. unless i work somewhere for month until i save up money?

Not sure what to do.

Does JBS offer tuition reimbursement, maybe they can help you out? FFE offers a refresher I believe in Chicago Heights and they may have a regional opportunity.
