Think he got smart with all the truck break downs and got out of there quick.

I have a $2000 house payment, and I'm extended to the limit with kids in college and cars and all the other things life thinks I need/require.
Look guys, we know that all lease deals suck (in general), not because of the opportunity they give us. But because we get burned out and often just cant make it to the end. Sometimes making to the end isn't the goal at all. For some it's the bigger check now, and not the truck later. The market changes and miles drop off. Life happens at home with out us, and one emergency is all it take to get us back home, maybe for good. With a lease you are paying for the security of 'walking away' from the truck, which might save your butt. You can't walk away if you buy from a dealer.
The math above shows that its about a 25% interest rate. But he did say this also covers insurance, plates, ifta and authority. While this seems a bit high, I don't see many companys giving you the truck for a buck at the end. Most give you the option to buy and of course they will finance you for another 2yrs and $40-60K.
Only question I have is has anyone ever got there truck with any lease company? And if you do get it, is there enough life left in it to get money in the bank before it blows.
I would also keep the .07 going in the maintanance account past the 5k requirment.scottied67 Thanks this. -

So did cog quit? I was enjoying reading this thread. Im considering going to jct and im trying to get as much current info from drivers as possible. There is a lot of positive info from drivers a few years ago but it seems not many have good things to say these days. Anyone with current or recent experience with jct please share your experience so I can better decide if I want to go there. Thnx
