There are quite a few of them. I imagine that either they don't know about TTR, or they have no care to post in the forums.

Well JCT really screwed the pooch on this load. I grabbed this load on Wed as a repower in Willcox, AZ. The load was due in Orlando on Sat at 0700. When I grabbed the repower, the trailer had a flat tire, and the reefer wasn't holding temperature (go figure.) I got the tire fixed, but JCT didn't seem to concerned that the load was pulping 12° higher than what the set temp was...except that they wanted me to stop every hour to repulp the load. The load was already tight as it was, and the added stopping eventually put me behind schedule. On Friday, I sent in my check call indicating that I was running late, and would not make otd. Considering that I was still in San Antonio Fri morning, I thought that they might want to get the load repowered as soon as possible. My dm just said to run my hours and we'll repower it when I stopped. After not hearing anything by 1530, I decided to give my dm a call. He said that he was working on it, and that he might have a team that will take it. He will let me know within an hour. 1630 came and went...as did 1730, and 1830. At 1900, I had stopped in Moss Point, MS for my break. I called dispatch and learned that a repower was not going to happen.

So Sat morning rolls around, and I'm still trying to figure out what's going on with the load. I was going to be 10 hours late for delivery, and considering that Sygma has specific receiving hours, I needed to know whether they would take it at all. After not getting anywhere with JCT, I went ahead and called Sygma myself. Sygma stated that it would be Sunday night (tonight) before they could accept the load. Well apparently the product buyer wasn't having any of that. They wanted me at Sygma at 0600...even though Sygma had already told me that they wouldn't receive it until tonight. After some back and forth with the planner, I agree to come in at 0600.

I get to Sygma at 0600 this am to find it looking a lot like a ghost town. So after a few minutes, I finally find somebody to talk to. He has no idea about any appointment and tells me that I'll have to come back at 2200 to get worked in. Surprise surprise. So here I sit, babysitting this lettuce load (that will probably get rejected anyways due to the temps being so high) for the 2nd day. All because people failed to properly do their jobs. The system failed big time, but I'm sure that I will get most of the blame as I am just the lowly driver.

The point is that even the good companies screw up from time to time. I will say that this is the First major issue that I have had with them in the past 4 1/2 months. At my previous company, almost every load was like this.
