Jet Express Dayton bought by MTS Grand Rapids

    MTS - Martin Transportation Martin Transportation Systems - Dedicated home daily and weekly truck driving careers! of Grand Rapids, MI has recently bought JET Express, Inc. Jet Express, Inc. - Dayton, OH of Dayton, Ohio & Marion, Indiana ....

    Any experience about either of these companies?

    They both run parts automotive parts (GM / Honda) Never have an empty an run bringing back empty racks from GM. Currently at Jet there is a sign on bonus for $2000.00 if you are an owner operator.

    Any Perceived Thoughts?

    I drove for mts out of Indianapolis they have lots of routes and lots of miles. Dispatch is hard to work with sometimes but aren't they all. The party is average but it's steady. They are in desperate need if drivers. All in all not a bad place to drive for. And I'm home every day.

    Home everyday is where it’s at but not necessarily where the money is at. They have a terminal in Marion Indiana too. I heard there’s quite a few Owner Operators there - Anyone with any other data to add?

    Personally I think MTS pay is low. I don't think this is a step up Jet drivers.
