Just took the plunge and tried Jethro's, not too shabby. It's definitely not some of the joints in KC but a good and reasonably-priced meal nonetheless. Plenty of truck parking within walking distance
Jethro's BBQ, exit 142 I-80

Sucks that there's apparently no truck parking close to the 135. Smoky D's is supposed to be world-class BBQ...

As with Beers, Hamburgers and other items, BBQ is a subjective Food.
Different styles for different people.
Two people walk in, one says it is the best they have ever tasted and the guy next in line says it ain't fit for human consumption.
As long as it is reasonably priced for the quantity of food you get, and it is not spoiled, i can stomach it.mountaingote and joseph1135 Thank this. -
I love some real redneck southern BBQ. Love it. All the other things in the south I'm not a big fan of (nascar, country music, inbreeding, etc) but I'll take some real southern BBQ any day of the week.
