JFI trucking

Remember that we also get one post hits from people “praising the company where they treat people by name not number”!

 

This is very true, only those who interact with the company will be able to judge for themselves, no company is perfect, there will always be good days and bad days, just posting about my interaction with them and my opinion.

 

I’m sure no one is expecting any company to be perfect but at least be who you claim to be. That is the fundamental and universal request that any truck driver (especially OTR driver) asks for. Just tell the truth.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about JFI, small midwestern reefer company. Companies are subjective not objective. So it just depends on what you’re looking for in a company. For every guy that’s got something bad to say about JFI there’ll be 5 others that will say the opposite.

 

i say "im out of here" about once or twice a week. ive turned into the trucker who cries "bear"..... but still here. fyi, not with jfi, just see them occasionally and most are good folks who actually have a working cb!!

 

I guess the OP had a problem with Johnson Feed? They run 85 mph trucks - who would complain about that?

 

I worked for them twice. First time for only 6 months then went local. Last time I stayed for a year and a half and I would never work for them again. They seemed great besides the terrible pay, but once I confirmed they had been listening to me day in and out and also watching me in real time on those drive cams when I was NOT even driving, that was enough! Some will say who cares? I do. Trust me JFI fans, every fart, noise, sexual encounter you have in their trucks is being recorded and I don’t mean by the drive cam only, I mean by those extra hidden mics that their mechanics install.
