Great! Awesome! Hope you get a good trainer. My trainer in 2008 with FFE in Dallas was a nightmare. Stick it out though unless the physically threaten you. Mine was fired halfway through for yelling at dispatch then gave me a great driver trainer after that

@purpleprime , I have a few questions about Prime maybe u can help me with
usually stay out?
Do they pay empty miles
Break down pay
run teams
Does the student and instructor split miles

They like company drivers to stay out 3 weeks then take 3 days off , but there is no set in stone rule on that ,
Yes empty miles are paid same as loaded miles they are zip code to zip code dispatch miles though
There is breakdown pay but it isn't much and I believe weekends are free and so is the first 24 hours
Most of the teams you will see at prime are student - instructor teams , student is paid 14 cents per mile or 700 dollars a week wich ever is more , and it's alldispatched miles to the truck not just individual miles123456 Thanks this. -

thanks for all the info, Do you think I should get my permit before attending training?

How is it who gets light weight trucks, do they apu's. can a tv/microwave, frig be hooked up.
What is the average mileage a rookie solo driver gets
Thanks for taking time out of your busy day to answer my questions -
I would study for the permit but I don't think I would waste my time or money getting it until you get to orientation, there has been alot of con fusion lately with what states permits will transfer to missouri and wich ones won't I'd say it will just be easier to take the test when you get there rather than possibly wasting money on a permit they might not let you use .
All trucks have an apu and a 1500 watt cobra power inverter , yes you can have a fridge a microwave a tv , they prefer that you have their detail shop do the installs but it's not required just know if you drill any holes in the truck you will pay for it when you turn it in.
Light weight trucks are mostly company solo drivers , but you can get into a condo if you really just can't live in a light weight -
To Me Wil Trans is the place for me , i talked to a recruiter and what he told me last month had me sold .now i know where i wanna go to begin my trucking career .Cant wait to get what i need and head off to them .
