You can make more with Trimac Transportation than hauling cars, even at the top end of the pay scale. Trimac hires new cdl grads from certain schools. I recommend contacting this company and ask if you're in the hiring area and if so, which school do they recommend.

Only thing I know for sure is the WilTrans guys dont get out west as much. I was told be recruiters as well as 2 drivers that they run a lot of West Coast to Indianda and lower midwest then down to Tx then back out west. Run a triangle. Plus have 1500 mile trips on average whete dont think WilTrans does.

Wil-Trans owns Jim Palmer Trucking. Personally, I like Jim Palmer because they get west coast runs. Both companies use full size trucks set up right for the driver where Prime uses small lightweight trucks, but I understand you can get a full size truck at Prime if you beg and agree to take less cpm.

Good information Chinatown. What would be your suggestion between the two, Prime or Wil-Trans, for the newbies? I'm in SE Mass if it helps at all.
