I can only guess and bump for an experienced answer, but my gut tells me that if they need temperature controlled they'll broker a reefer. Lithium batteries are susceptible to cold temperatures, but not too much else, unless it's super cold. It'd be a good thing to check if you're picking up, though. Just to be safe.

    What are you hauling?

I mean electronics could be setups for remote radio transmissions, or it could be for cellular installs (we do a lot of those) or it could be consumer goods, there are a lot of different things it could be.

Wouldn't the shipper have information on how the load should be handled?

More likely you will be told what to do either by your dispatcher or shipper. If you don't know and have a load of chips in that trailer ask questions before you take off.

I hate to be difficult but a load is a load. Potato Chips or Televisions. It's all the same once the doors close. However coming out of the old Zenith factory it was pretty tight getting to that trailer drop and hook. You wont see those anymore ever. Except in antique shops and museums. America shut off Analog about 12 years ago and converted to digital.
