I don't know I don't know much about UPS I do know the last time they shipped something of mine it was lost in Omaha, and showed up a week late, package had been opened and taped back shut.

I keep thinking you're right and ups is still union not many of them left anymore but I know they pay better than fedex. Last time I see one of those jobs posted it was 550/wk to start I wasn't exactly impressed to run around the city all day.

I don't know like I said I wasn't trying to call him a liar I just find it hard to believe. If I seen a pay stub I'd be parking my truck and going to fill out an application I'd be more than happy to run around in shorts even if they are brown, and drive a UPS truck all day long hell I'd drive it 16 hours a day if they were going to pay me that kind of money. I'd be more than happy to work every holiday as well.

    1. Did I ask for your help? Nope I asked for proof
    2. If you're going to post about how in 5 years you're making 120k running a box truck state your source.
    3. Nobody asked you to hold their hand please state where I said that? I said I wanted proof big difference but apparently reading comprehension isn't your strong point. Lets try this again see #1
    4. I asked for a source once again See #'s 1 and 3. Clearly with as hot headed as you got you were doing nothing but blowing smoke up a kids ### if you're not willing to state your source if one can make such wonderful money one should be able to see that on UPS' website. Until you show the depot, and time it takes I ain't believing anything.
    5. If you don't want to be called out on numbers or supposed "FACTS" that you post don't post them. I could be a ####### but I'll refrain from it I'm not going to drop down to your level.

Have you talked to the Co-Ops? My uncle just runs during harvest season in NW Kansas, spends the rest of the year doing odd jobs.

Anybody curious about UPS can find out the truth on browncafe.com . The delivery drivers make well over $30/hr. at top rate (after 4 years). The "feeder" (tractor-trailer) drivers top out at around $36/hr. these days. Where they all clean up is in overtime. While I doubt $120k is very common among delivery drivers (I've heard 80's is typical), it is NOT uncommon for feeder drivers to make well over $100k. (Info is from a friend who is a feeder driver)

Boy you guys suck at giving the kid ideas... You only give him one.

The thing to do is find a job that other drivers do not want to do. This means it will be hot, dirty and or stinky.

    Dump trucks
    Cement trucks
    Garbage trucks
    Roll off trucks
    Sewage truck

You get the idea. Being 19 it is going to be tough but if you knock on enough doors someone will answer.
