Main things I like about smaller companies (and this one in particular...) Less micromanagement, longer runs (I am averaging around 1,400 per run) WAY more miles than I was getting at GTI/HTLND - just got off of a 4,000 mile week...long may it continue!!!
And home this weekend to see Liverpool FC take on Olympiacos (of Greece) in a pre-season Soccer match at Soldier Field in Chicago...been over 20 years since I saw them, and will most likely be second stringers but I don't care!!! -
I just walked past a western express truck who had a plastic hose running out of his side box on the passenger side and under the truck. This thing had urine running out of it all over the parking lot here at the pilot in tolleson,az.
the stinch was terrible and i am glad i was not parked next to that lazy sob....
in my mind i set his truck on fire and watched it burn......if only.....
i am sure he thought he was clever.....idiot.joseph1135 and 25(2)+2 Thank this. -

Woot out of TX!
Westbound on I40 will be overnight in Flagstaff tomorrow eve when my 70 runs out again . -
Also, wanted to give an update on the "ole' man". He's been running the western 11 doing a triangle from Idaho>Cali>WA. Miles have been adding up really well. He's only out for 3 weeks this time around because he went straight from his time out w/ Gordon to orientation. He'll get a few days of home time Aug 4th and then head back out for a 5-6 weeker. They asked him if he'd mind doing a run to FL and back to start out and we said that'd be just fine!
So looking at some big miles coming up and already planning on ways to take advantage of money coming in. Gimme a new car Mr. Barker!! Well, a used car that'll get me to and from work would be fine, too. Lol!
On another subject, any of you guys using a cooler or mini-fridge in those trucks? He's eyeballing the measurements and not sure if a mini-fridge would work. Any other life hacks for keeping food on the truck?
Safe travel, folks! -
I am not with lesser...sorry... washington is out of our hiring area..
as for coolers... stay away from coleman... since they are now made in china they are not worth a crap.
i ordered a 45 quart koolatron from amazon and it works great. I do have to keep it on my top bunk.
i also use a rice cooker i got at walmart for $12.00 to heat up soups and such. Just plug it into my inverter.trkrslady Thanks this. -
