Parked at the Pilot in St George, UT for the night. Hell of a time getting backed in because apparently lighting costs too much money. A bit short of where I wanted to be but Saputo was a bit slow and CA traffic sucks.

i really dislike st george pilot
from the exit ramps with the circles to lack of parking
then the store is crowded and small
i sometimes just stop in Mesquite
especially if it is dinner time at my sis in laws
or exit 12 beside the Quality inn has truck parking for 8-10 trucks
with all the stores across the streetGabeScott and joseph1135 Thank this. -
At the Petro in Laramie. Wanted to go further but I said the hell with it. I had 30 minutes left. I don't remember what's east of here for parking anymore. I did make sausage tortellini for dinner tonight. Good stuff.

Cheyenne is an hour east (45 min for you).
I picked up a copy of "pocket truck stop guide" lists parking areas and rest areas along highways by mile marker.
Helps a bunch with trip planning.
Does not include picnic areas though.
They are in most truckstops near the paper logs.joseph1135 Thanks this. -
