Joe & Tow's new trucking adventures/ex GTI thread

Hey Tow your new signature picture made me laugh. Made it back and getting the truck washed. They always shake their heads when we show up. Two trips to Alaska and the truck looks like it had never seen a truck wash before. This truck is suffering big times already. The paint is falling off the frame and all the chrome has rust all over. That road will take the live out of a truck quickly.

 

I have owned 2 Peterbilts. Yes, the paint came off the frame in about 2 years. Someone told me they had fixed that issue . .I guess not. Of couse, where you run is rough on a truck.

 

Paint on the frame of my 2011 Pete 387 is holding up fine.

Now the 08 kw t660 frame was about half rust blisters when I dumped it.

 

Drove right by each other. Oh well.
