Joe & Tow's new trucking adventures/ex GTI thread

Is there anyone who didn't get an argument or disagreement out of V that didn't linger. Perhaps a better question...Anyone ever get an AGREEMENT out of him? Best of luck, V. Maybe he'll show up under another handle?

 

Vic and I strongly disagree on OTR, unions, hourly vs mileage, etc but I still enjoyed most of his posts. I am not surprised he is banned, however. One of the mods kept moving his threads around so I bet some words were exchanged that violated toc.

 

Having robust, animated debates, even disagreements, is one thing; there is enough diversity in the trucking industry to have myriad viewpoints. Making personal attacks against individuals and lingering on them is something else.

Your right, a good debate can be interesting and fun.
Vic.......seemed to enjoy taking it too far. To the point that he went after me for multiple pages, in a single thread. Like he did to MANY others, all across the board.

 

He was a phony....who only liked stirring things up..

But, back to the exploits of the real world. Glad to see everyone is still doing well with their respective employers. Joe's posts have gotten better, again.
There was a noticeable difference from when he went to the light blue screw, and then came back to honest trucking.

 

Hanging in Sullivan, MO tonight. East bound to Cincy in the a.m.

Left over 2400 miles of bills on the dashboard during home time.

Adding 2900 for this run should leave the business account looking healthier.

 

Had an extended stay at home this week, hasn't impacted my checks too severely (a couple of 2k's on both checks). Been a rough week actually.....my Under active Thyroid has been kicking my butt....largely as a result of not being 100% on my meds tbh....crushing fatigue (does NOT actually affect my driving) and very little energy....thankfully picking up now I am back taking my meds on a daily basis.

Had the sore on my tongue checked out and the Dr. thinks that is a breakdown of scar tissue and that it will not grow into anything malignant, but we will continue to monitor it (never sure if that is good or bad!!!!) but it is still there and still a bit of a worry.

Back out today with a run from Lemont,IL to Burlington,NJ not too bad to start a new week out...and hopefully back into the long stuff next!!!
