    Not yet !!!!

Our tag axle trucks are getting 10.5 mpg .... when companies figure that out you will start seeing more and more of them...

I am too.....not quite up there with the miles that Joe is but not too far out of it (gonna do a 6 month statistical comparison with GTI here soon). Holland too are adding more seats (25 is what I heard) miles are good, 3k coming out of the house. Holland are of the opinion that if you are not making money then they are not making money (stands to reason you would have thought) and yet other larger companies seem content to have trucks and drivers sitting on the rear ends for day after day in some instances. This is by far and away the BEST trucking company I have worked for and barring any major catastrophes I have no plans on looking elsewhere. I like the runs (average over 1,600), the people in the office actually seem like they know what they are doing (a nice departure from all the other companies I have worked for!)....

After my experience with the gordon sellout i have determined never to be caught without options again.

so i am continually looking at what is out there even though i am happy where i am at.

it is scary at what kind of companies are out there and the quality of drivers they are looking for.

i saw an add today that under driver qualifications it specified...no more than 4 tickets in the last 3 years !!!!

    Really!!!!

What kind of outfit is that....

    double yellow Thanks this.

Those of you that are current iTunes account holders and fans of U2 probably know you have their latest album, Sounds of Innocence, in your Purchased folder...free. Amazing. It would take a company that big and powerful to pull that off with one of the world's biggest groups. I just downloaded mine.

Some companies will take any one they can get thru there insurance.

I dont know of any OTR companies NOT looking for drivers. I also dont see it getting any better unless they incress pay a lot. People are not willing to work 70 hours a week being away for weeks at a time just to make a living.
