Can you hear or read, trucking company executives? You get what you pay for. Start getting better employees. In other industries, an employee working that many hours is trying to make partner or finish medical training...and they get paid a WHOLE lot more than a truck driver.
Wise up, trucking company CEO. You make very good money on the rumps of your drivers. Pay them.

I have been at my home for time off since last Sunday Sept. 7th. I was going to go
back to work on Thursday but my dispatcher just told me to come back on Monday.
He said it was to late in the week for me to recover my truck in Byron TX. I will go
back tomorrow and get a rental car to drive back to the Freightliner dealer in Byron.
At least two days to go get it so I will be ready to roll again on Wednesday. I figure
that Pilot is going to pay at least $50,000 for all the repairs and everything else that
is associated with them selling me a tank full of water. My dispatcher figures by the
time Pilot pays for all the damages they caused it will amount to $1,000,000 or more.
I really should send a Christmas card to the CEO of Pilot this year. I have enjoyed all
the time off, a lot of it with pay at that. I will definitely never use the Pilot at exit#184
I-35 in New Braunfels Tx. ever again. Everybody be safe out there....double yellow and Bumper Thank this. -
The owner of Pilot will have paid out several million dollars on screw ups this year. With all the rebates and now the water. He just might enjoy a Christmas card to think that someone still loves him.
-
Man you would think with all the problems that Pilot is having in the last couple years they would get there crap together. With them it just seams like one thing after another
