Maybe. But his football team beat Nawlins today, which was unexpected, so he's happy.

Took a load from Atlanta to 3 stops in Florida. Elkton, Jacksonville, which decided to keep me 7 hours and screw my Ocala drop, so got that off today. Now headed to Unadilla, GA for Enid, OK on Thursday. That's gonna be tight,.....

Today has been a very sad day in my household..

My wife's mother passed away today at the age of 88. She was truly a real southern lady. She always had a smile on her face and insisted on a bearhug every time i saw her. Even though i was terrified i would break her in two.

A very wise man told me when i was a teenager that before i chose a wife i should get to know her mother because she would more than likely be what my wife would turn out to be. He has proven to be a very wise man.

This was a lady whom before it was socially acceptable worked and put herself through college and obtained her masters degree in education. She retired as the principal for the school that my wife and all her siblings graduated from.

it was unfortunate that i was on the road when she passed but i will be getting home tomorrow to be with the family.

i know that none of you ever met her but just wanted to say the world is a better place today because of her and countless others like her.

it does make me wonder that now that those whom we call the greatest generation are passing on..just how many of us are prepared to pick up the mantle and go forward ...leaving this a better place for those to follow us..
