Tow, and Bumper.....my condolences for your loss.

Tow, not many people are willing to take up the mantle of freedom anymore. It comes with too much responsibility and commitment. That is what it was that your mother in law carried....the mantle of freedom. Witch necessitated hard work, discipline and sacrifice.

    tow614 and Bumper Thank this.

My condolences to Tow and Bumper and their families from me as well. On a lighter note I see MisterG had a Freudian slip while talking about mother in laws. It made me chuckle.

    Bumper and tow614 Thank this.

Tow and Bumper, I spoke to Tow earlier, but I am still sorry for your losses. We are all getting up there in age where this is something that we will have to deal with more frequently. It sucks, never gets easier, but always remember them fondly, and remember to not carry grudges because you never know when it'll be too late to say you're sorry.

In a way, I'm glad both my parents passed on many years ago. But I did recently lose a favorite mother-in-law to old age (she was 94) and that hit me pretty hard. It was particularly hard on my children, her grandchildren. They're much younger and death isn't "part" of their life yet, as it is mine.

Bumper, tow614, joseph1135 and 2 others Thank this.

And we keep rolling, no rest for the wicked: next load picks up in Denison, TX, which is 260 miles from me, and taking it to Miami and Medley, FL for Monday. Way too much time on that load, but I guess some people want the weekend off..... Pricks.
