Tow, Sc00ter and drvrtech77 can tell you about SEC, I know their hometime policy is excellent.

Generally away from middle Tennessee it's usually 3 weeks out but they will be flexible if need be...insurance isn't too bad could be cheaper but also could be way more expensive...this by far is the best company I've been with...

If SEC has a down side it is the insurance.....they do not offer coverage for your family or spouse. This was supposed to change this fall but the company decided not to do so. Also the insurance offered for the driver is bare minimum..
A $5,000.00 deductible with no copays nor a prescription card. The drivers cost for this is $25.00 per week. They do offer additional vision and dental but the dental does not pay for anything until you have been paying the premium for 1 year.

i was disappointed by their failure to improve the healthcare coverage and not to offer family coverage since they have been telling us they were going to do so all year..really dropped the ball on that.

As far as the other things it is a very good company to drive for..very friendly and courteous ..quite flexible on hometime and the freight has been good up to now..

equipment is very good and well maintained....

if insurance is not a concern then i can recommend them highly..

Just ran a load from Umatilla, FL to Assonet, MA. Not a bad run. Now picking up in Elizabeth, NJ and headed for Minnesota. It might be time for a break in the near future....

I'm definitely taking off Halloween; friends are doing their reception then.

Most likely doing a 3 day break next time near home.
