Yes, Virginia (and New Hampshire and California and Montana and Hawaii, and all the rest), the Parks Highway in Alaska is a very dangerous place this time of year, even for experienced Alaskan drivers.

Sitting at Walmart in Riverside, CA and they said it will be no less than 4 hours to unload. Gotta love Walmart. Scumbags.

Not until March. Right now, I'm working for UPS as a driver helper for the Christmas season. Once the snow starts falling here, I'm also on the on-call list to shovel snow. Both good paying jobs and lots of movement, which I like.

Why I live in Cali: I have NEVER had to shovel 4 feet of fog to get out of the house.

I lived in SoCal for almost 30 years. San Diego, LA, and Riverside Counties. I loved it, but the state had water then.

I have a good friend from when we were together in elementary school in Jordan who's a commercial farmer - and a very, very successful one - in the Central Valley.
