With the changes they're making Heartland-Gordon, they probably have more freight and trailers than available drivers and trucks. Probably keeps the new detention pay down...

I didn't do it. I'm innocent, and that's that. Sitting waiting to load, little jaunt about 485 miles. Back to our regularly scheduled, oh wait..... Lol

Tomorrow will be 1 year that I came back to Lessors from GTI. It's been a fun year. A few bumps in the road with trucks this year, but back to rocking and rolling as I usually do. This year is shaping up to be just as good as last, miles miles miles and the next few months every metal band on the planet has new discs coming out. Oh yeah, new Jurassic Park movie coming out in June, to say I'm stoked would be an understatement. This week I made well over $1800. Wasn't doing that with GTI. Not even close.

Averaging out my settlements, I averaged $1250 a week. One week was $2200, a few were $1700-1800, most fell in the $1100-1400 range. I spent maybe a week in the shop over the year, as opposed to GTI where I spent a week in the shop every two months. I traveled 47 states (somehow I missed Maine) and I was inspected once where I got my "Atta Boy" sticker. Money isn't tight, and things over here are always looking up.

Since I've been back, Lessors has acquired Pullen Bros out of Sikeston, MO, giving us new lanes and Texas freight, which we haven't had in years. I'm also due for another raise this week too, and that's a good feeling. I've been gone from GTI for one year and back in the saddle at Lessors where I was at for 6 years. I'm glad I got to go to GTI before it went to the scumbags in Iowa. But I'm truly where I belong. Until the Nuthouse sends the van for me!
