Been running US highways in WY, NE, and CO for the past couple of days.

After being down a week changing carriers, had to suck it up and do a couple higher paying short loads. Time to set up for a longer run once I drop in Boise.

Oh. What with all the excitement of the past two days - experiencing untarping during a very cold winter storm, the welcome news that we we were being t-called to Nashville to get me off the trainer's truck, then the unpleasant experience that's keeping me in a hotel in New Haven just down the street from the Freightliner dealership - I neglected to mention that I saw a lot of new aquatint-colored trucks with and without decals being towed by other GTI tractors coming out of Indy heading for Pontoon Beach. As far as I could tell, those with decals had 105** numbers assigned. Some weren't even painted blue yet.

Having been in this non-APU-and-no-inverter-allowed-plus-no-bunk-heater-installed truck for longer than I should have been, it made me miss the quality of good equipment. I think before this current accident-related even is over, I will miss the quality of the GTI people, too.

Gti does not have a monopoly on quality equipment i assure you....we have just as good equipment at big g plus ours doesnt break down all the time...

the 105 series trucks are trade ins...gordon is shedding a lot of trucks right now since heartland doesnt want any million mile trucks.. the 105 series is what i and greyhound had and they had 300k on them when i left over a year ago...

DD did you try ptl...at least they have apus and inverters plus bunk heaters....they are a second chance company...

guess we're going to have to disagree on what's quality. Those pos trucks broke down on me constantly and the people there can perform a certain sex act on themselves. Bunch or non working panty wastes at Gordon. Drivers included.

Oh, I know about their maintenance issues and how a guy could run 45 days or so with an inop APU. It's just that looking at them from the driver seat in what I'm driving...well, you understand.

double yellow and tow614 Thank this.

Let me tell you how I really feel since its been over a year. Bunch of babies at that company. I'm so much happier not having people try to hold my hand. And then some of the drivers. Holy. ####. How does a team grab the wrong trailer? Two guys, and they both are complete idiots. Not that we don't have idiots here too. But Jesus H christ.
