THE LAST 24 HOURS.
Have sucked so bad. Lol. So, a steering wheel holder over here screwed the pooch so bad on a load that I had to "rescue" it. Let's start off with this: he left NC with a load to Wisconsin that should have delivered yesterday. He made it to Indianapolis. His reasoning? He doesn't believe in alarm clocks, he wakes up when God tells him to wake up (I wonder if God told him to get with that prostitute too). I get to Indianapolis, wash out the trailer, fill it with fuel, and precool it for him so he can pick up his ice cream load (which was supposed to be mine, but his load MUST get to Wisconsin by 11 am. They make a relay for him to meet me at the shipper, give me his load and he can load at midnight. Sounds simple enough right? Well. Not so fast my friends. This ####### stayed at the Pilot, when he was called, he now didn't have the hours to get to the shipper. 8 miles away. Supposed to show up at 7 pm. I ended up loading his load and waiting on him till 5 am, he showed up, rushed to get the trailer dropped, so he could head back to the Pilot. I kid you not. Thanks for doing that, because I got to run through Chicago traffic and make the delivery by the skin of my teeth, and then run here to Minooka, IL to load a Florida load. With almost no sleep. I never wanted to lay out a driver so bad in my life. I'll have the last laugh, he'll be looking for another job while I have a 4,000 mile week and a few tugs on the balls for saving both loads. A true 4,000 mile week. Couldn't get that at GTI anymore.Weeble Kneeble, Jrdude5, Hitman and 2 others Thank this. -
