    Been busy all week.....

Started the week out switching trucks since the clutch went out in my volvo....

Got a T680 now....not a new one but it was taken care of...still has that new smell..

This has to be the best truck i have ever had...and i have had several new ones over the years...

Only downside is it steers like my old FLD but i adjusted quickly..the sleeper is huge and it rides like a dream

One of Big G's T680's (#1750) parked next to me while the driver showered. Having never been that close to one, I walked around it - and no, I didn't even touch it; I never would. Just look...

I've never really had the hankerin' to drive a KW, but that one looked mighty nice. I have no idea the age, but it looked clean and nice.

They sure can't wait for me to return to work at SEC. I got a call at 0730 this morning asking me why I wasn't there for orientation.
I told them probably since I told you about 5 times last week that I would not be there until May 4th, I am looking forward to getting
back behind the wheel again but I am not in that big of a hurry! Lol...

Cranky Yankee and tow614 Thank this.

Ha, dd, unless it's being wanted by the authorities! Been nice and busy finishing up my 2nd week out tonight with a shorty from murfreesboro to shelbyville ky. Just under 3000 paid miles last week and I have 2991 on the truck now for this week. Looking forward to home time next weekend and then I start going home every other weekend. Niceď

    Observations:

    1. Long-nose trucks pulling a 53' flatbed with the fifth wheel all the way back, resulting in the nose sticking 12' into the main traffic area should not park in a tight Pilot.
    2. 6 trucks waiting to find a parking space must make the one guy trying to back into an opening very, very nervous. A flatbedder, like me!
    3. I wonder if I will be able to get out of my end spot, which, of course, is no longer the end spot, now that two other trucks have parked alongside me.
    4. Blindside backing really isn't that hard...if you get out and look a time or three!

It's times like these I wish I had just pulled into that rest area with all the spaces parallel....

Hey Denali how is it going at Western? I think you have a thread going but not sure. I enjoy reading other threads. Just can't seem to start one of my own.

I'm contemplating a change. Fairchild may just be that change. We'll see. Still running good here. Coast to coast. But a change of scenery may be in the works at some point. Looking to expand the horizons north in the future.
