I'll have 3801 miles this week, not too bad. Did 2500 miles in 3.5 days, just waiting for the rest of the world to catch up to me....

That is pretty normal stuff when you run the great white North. Remember 15hrs drive time in 20 in Alaska, 15hrs drive time in 18 in the Yukon and 13hrs of drive time in Canada below the 60 latitude in 16. Come join the fun.
DenaliDad, joseph1135 and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -
How far North ya' gotta go to run 23.5 in 24 ? Do they have a place ya' can work 36 straight ? .... Those are some long hours you're allowed up there 'swen. How long is the Mandatory break on those rules ?
-
You can work 36hrs straight pretty much anywhere, but your driving time will be restricted to the HOS rules you will fall under at the time. Alaska requires 10hrs off before driving again and the Yukon wants 8hrs, but you have to be careful when leaving and either going into BC or Alaska since they require 10hrs.joseph1135 and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this.

That's how it's done, kid. That's how it's done. Every second balls to the wall. I'm gonna get long winded because it's been kind of a weird day. But #### I don't care if you don't.
If you wanna get some you gotta give some. This isn't a part time job or a check off the bucket list for me. It's what I do. It's what I live and breathe. Have so for the last 14 years, even at the expense of my personal life and it shows by how much I'm on here and not interacting with actual people. They piss me off, I don't do good with the stupid that we have to run into as drivers on a daily basis. There's a lot of times that road, that's my girl. Her curves. Her bumps. She forces me to treat her right. That road is everything to me. So yeah, I take it way serious and I respect her, because like any woman, she's complicated, and if you treat her wrong, she'll turn on your ### in a second.
Every load, every mile, I've ridden her as hard as I can. And she's given me everything I could ever ask for and then some. I don't show off what I've done, I show off what she's done. Always treat her like a lady and she'll reward you tenfold. That's my girl there.double yellow, Blu_Ogre, tucker and 1 other person Thank this. -
