Yup. Motorcycle versus anything larger usually results in a very bad scene. I saw many of them in San Diego as a paramedic decades ago.

I've seen several motorcycle accidents in my truck driving career. They where all similar. Car driver doesn't see the motorcycle. Car pulls out in front of the motorcycle. Result, motorcycle rider laying in middle of the road surrounded by cops covered with a sheet. What's left of motorcycle sitting on the back of a flatbed wrecker. I won't ever ride on one. Just too many stupid people driving that dont pay attention to whats going on around them.

Wow what a day. Haul butt up here to Hawkins TX. to pick up a load and the shipper says my appointment is for 1100 am tomorrow. Typical broker load. And no parking at the shipper. Just got a call from broker. She says this happens all the time. They don't even have the name of the consignee. Or when it's supposed to deliver. This is LANDSTAR BROKERS!

The people at the Nestle.plant told me the closest parking was the.Pilot on I-20 so I drove 22 miles to a Wal-Mart to park. About the same distance back to the Pilot. Thats a 330 deadhead plus 45 to park overnight and back. The loaded miles are only 205...

Im back here now waiting to get loaded. The guy here yesterday told me no parking around here. Just as well, I'd rather park someplace with hot food and a restroom close by. I didn't notice any dirt lot. They probably use it for.something else now. I just noticed a Millis Transfer pull in next to me. He's got one of those driver facing cameras. What a bunch of BS that is. His tractor has those Super Single tires too.

Now they.cancelled the load. I'm on my way to Monroe LA, to pick up a load. Dead head from San Antonio to Monroe via Hawkins TX, is 550 miles plus a stop off for Hawkins. Pretty good miles for hauling sailboat fuel.
