Good to see most of the players have checked in.

Fare warning @Bumper: I'll be down Yuma and Calexico way Tuesday/Wednesday.

I don't poke around here much but it's a dang shame that a company that used to have some big trucks back in the day has come to this. I hope they don't do away with the Gordon name all together but it's not looking good.

The old GTI has been dead for sometime. The new GTI, where it was routing and fuel solutions died in 2013 with scumbag Heartless taking over, with daily mileage limits and "We'll tell you when you'll shut down" BS. Some Midwestern jack off kissing the rear of shareholders and sticking it to who actually makes him his money.

    Gordon Trucking is long dead.

Like @joseph1135 has pointed out, the Gordon that folks told me about started to fade a number of years ago. The ghostly facade is all that remains.

Forward and driver. It seems to irk a lot of people, but not me. I see it as a good thing.

There have been lawsuits where the driver could not prove that he was not using a cell phone or was otherwise distracted...and the company lost. It can't be turned on by the company to "check on" the driver or to peep in, but it can be turned on by the driver with the push of a button...just in case. Like the other night. Somebody banged on my door late; before I opened it, I pushed the button...just in case. Nothing happened, so a third-party will review the video for a strict list of criteria. Since none were there, the company will never see it.

I know I might be the only non-paranoid driver around, but since I always wear my seatbelt, don't drive wile snoozing, don't hide alcohol, don't use my cell phone, and don't do most of the other things that get people in trouble, I'll take all the protection I can get.
