Joe & Tow's new trucking adventures/ex GTI thread

Could have been me.. there were a couple of us went over to richmond then.

 

This is wierd: !!!

Got up and went to restroom and upon returning started my pretrip. When I got to the back of my trailer I discovered someone had installed a new LED tail light on my trailer. None of the others are the LED type and all the dirt had been wiped from the area. The rubber boot around the light was scrunched up.

I couldn't find any other damage and the old one was working. There was no broken material laying around so I am bewildered.

maybe someone backed into me last night and was honest enough to fix it.... go figure...

 

Hey your lucky it wasn't one of those drivers that does a hit and run.
Its good to know there are still some people with integrity out here
driving trucks. I have been hit and scraped quite a few times and who
ever did it just took off. I am sorry to hear you have a medical condition
that requires a doctors attention. I cant stand going to the hospital. they
have just as many incompetents as the trucking industry. And thank you
again for hooking me up with SEC. I am very happy with this company.
I go back on the road tomorrow and they have me set up on a load al
the way out to Washington. Not sure if its Spokane or Renton yet. not
a bad way to start my week.

Joe & tow...I was talking to a good friend of mine who's an o/o at GTI whom also intends to leave this year informed me last night that they other o/o who's truck he bought was informed at heartlands terminal in Iowa that they will be soon changing the dot #'s and the names on the trucks soon...they also going to stay with people net and dump qualcomm from GTI trucks...

 

I discovered someone had installed a new LED tail light on my trailer. did you make sure it works and was not a bad light for good light swap out , had that a few times over the years

Wow, you actually do a pretrip and look at stuff. We had an O/O hook up to one of our trailers a while back and pulled it of the stands. It did not have any axles under it. You would think you notice that part when you crank up the landing gear.

 

I hope i never top that one......

 

How did he explain that one? I can't even imagine.
